Full Bio

I have lived in New Mexico my whole life. I grew up in a small-town east of Albuquerque called Sandia Park, and have lived in Albuquerque for about 10 years now. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from UNM. New Mexico is my home, and where I have always felt most connected to. I know this is a hot topic, but I will always get my breakfast burrito with red chile.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC) in the state of New Mexico. My background has been informed by working both with Domestic Violence survivors and Career Counseling at a University setting.  Under those two specialties, I have worked with various human experiences such as life transitions, identity issues, relationship issues, body image struggles, stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD.

My foundational approach to therapy is based in humanistic counseling, and I also utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients create change in their lives. I wholeheartedly believe that each individual is the expert on themselves and their lives—I am here to help support and guide you to living life based on your values. Through a collaborative approach, growth and change are essential pieces of moving toward what is most important. I aspire to create a space that allows for safe and connected interaction.

A little bit about me: I am a queer woman, partnered, family-oriented, and a donut lover. I would say that humor is one of my biggest strengths and values. I care deeply about being a counselor and connecting with people. I think it is also important for me to be self-aware and continue growing.

I can’t wait to get to know more about what makes you, you.
