I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. Whether it’s your first time seeking support or you’re returning to the process, I’m here to provide a safe and supportive space where a strong therapeutic relationship can foster meaningful, collaborative progress. Healing the deepest parts of ourselves can be challenging, but it’s a journey we don’t have to take alone.

Full Bio

Hi, I’m Arturo, I'm a proud graduate of The University of New Mexico and passionate about supporting individuals and couples as they navigate healing, growth, and self-discovery. My approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person's life experiences. My professional background includes working with the New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission, where I gained valuable experience collaborating with organizations across the state to assist individuals and families statewide. That experience shaped my trauma-informed lens and continues to influence the way I hold space for clients today.

In my work, I draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, particularly in my work with couples, to support healthy communication, emotional regulation, and a stronger connection.

I have a special focus in supporting clients through grief and trauma, and I offer Telehealth sessions to make therapy accessible, flexible, and supportive-wherever you are in New Mexico. Therapy is a deeply personal process, and I consider it a privilege to work with all my clients. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to explore more of who you are, I'm here to support you in a way that feels encouraging, genuine, and collaborative.

Outside of the therapy space, I'm someone who finds joy in creativity and culture. I love making art, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and getting lost in music. I enjoy exploring different languages, traditions, and cuisines, which keeps me feeling connected and inspired.
